  • Ever wanted to feel you are part of the COBR committee during a national emergency?  Well, here’s your chance to see what it’s like…It’s a fun and entertaining event – but bring your best negotiation skills with you.
  • Will the Home Office suggest something better suited to the future of their party? Will the MOD want a more radical solution?
  • Working in teams (simulated government COBR committees) you will hear the details of a serious “crisis” scenario. There will be decisions to make but consequences can be unexpected (just like real life!).  After the final round each team gets a score based on the outcome that results from their decision making. The team with the highest score wins.
  • Do you need a team building event that’s different, makes sure everybody gets involved and will get everyone talking and negotiating together?

How many people can play; Who is it for?

Ideally COBR-A is played with 12 to 60 people. Occasionally we can accommodate up to a maximum of 100 participants. The event is designed for anyone and everyone over the age of 15. Ideal for both team building and social events.

Do the participants need any specific knowledge or skills?

No – many of those playing will assume the role of politicians…so no special skills or high IQ’s required?!

How Does the Game Work?

The participants are divided into teams (simulated government COBR committees), they are given information and choices about a crisis situation and must make decisions to resolve it. After the final round each team gets a score based on the outcome that results from their decision-making. The team with the highest score wins.

How long does the game last?

The activity can easily be fitted into a half day or evening session. Actual game-play time depends on the number of participants but is generally 2-3 hours’
